Our History

Ashley Butler is the owner of multiple Ice Cold Air locations. Starting in 2006 at a smaller location, Ashley quickly realized that customer service is the key to growing a business, which led her to move to a more prominent location. A Tampa native and University of South Florida (USF) graduate, Ashley is deeply rooted in her community. Ashley has helped pioneer a strong social media presence for our shops, bringing millions of eyes to our page. Her dedication to her work and her customers has earned her recognition from the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Beyond her professional life, Ashley is adventurous, having tried skydiving and canyoneering, but her true passion lies in traveling to new places and meeting new people. Ashley is also very active in her personal life, enjoying poker, golf, and speaking to local youth.

Ashley and her wife Adrien have a son named Darian, who is a student at HCC and aspires to be a Fire Investigator. They also have a Yorkshire Terrier named Petrie. Ashley is very involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews, and when she is not serving her community, she enjoys attending sports, live music, and arts performances.

Although he is originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, Bruce has spent 26 years in the community, making him almost a native. His passions include golfing, his unwavering support for the Miami Dolphins (hence the hat he never parts with), and spending time with his dog.  

Bruce's two daughters are the center of his life. Both of them have completed college with their AA degrees. Recently, his daughter Savannah joined him in the business as a Service Advisor.

He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and moved to Florida in 1992. He and his wife, Amanda, have three children. 

Dennis enjoys spending his Sunday Funday free time with his family on their boat, island hopping, fishing (especially scalloping and stone crabbing), kneeboarding, tubing, and cruising up and down the Intracoastal Waterway. 

If he isn’t on the water, he enjoys off-road jeeping. When Dennis isn’t on the water or off-road jeeping, you can find him indulging in his favorite snack, chocolate chip cookies. 

Although he is not originally from Florida, he has been living here since 1990, after relocating from Richmond, VA. 

Apart from his passion for cars, Rick is also a huge sports enthusiast. He played college and professional baseball and has coached many teams. 

When he is not spending time with his three children and two grandchildren, you can find him cheering for the Washington Commanders.

Mike has been passionate about cars and motors since high school and has his own fleet of vehicles, including a Jeep, a '66 Plymouth Belvedere II, a '59 Ford F100, and three Harleys.

A Florida native, Mike loves living here and supports the Bucs, Lightning, and Rays. His favorite sport is college football, and he is a proud fan of the Florida State Seminoles. 

Mike has two grown children who he is very proud of. When he is not at the shop, he enjoys boating, fishing, "Jeeping," and working on his own cars.

Kevin has a solid track record of providing exceptional customer service and has dedicated his career to ensuring that his customers feel secure and satisfied with their auto repair needs.

In 1987, Kevin moved to Florida from Chicago. When he's not running his successful business, Kevin enjoys boating.

He served in the USAF as a Crew Chief, or fighter aircraft mechanic, and has now been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He and his wife Melissa have four marvelous daughters.

During his free time, Eric enjoys water sports with the women in his life, especially wakeboarding and wake surfing.

In 2003, while on a vacation to Florida, he fell in love with FL and decided to move here permanently. He sold his house in Long Island, West Islip, and immediately relocated to the Tampa Bay area.

Interestingly, Chris is not a sports enthusiast, and when asked about his favorite sports team, he jokingly replies, "Bacon!" He takes pride in running his business as a true "Mom and Pop" shop and is  training his son, Chris Jr., to take over the company in the future. 

Chris is an active member of his local community and passionately supports multiple causes that are close to his heart.

Pete is a Classic Car Enthusiast and recently expanded his business with a  new Showroom dedicated to his Classic Car Customers.

In addition to his expertise in the auto industry, Pete is also an experienced pilot and enjoys flying during his free time. When he isn't up in the air, he likes to spend time near the water, camping, fishing, and relaxing by the pool with his wife and son.

During their time as the owners of Shop 0501, Aaron and Jessica built a successful family-run business with their two oldest children. Their keys to building a successful business included caring for their community, giving excellent customer service, and standing behind their work.

Apart from running their business in Tampa, Aaron and Jessica have placed roots in the Port Richey community, where they have lived for over a decade. Aaron is the coach of the Mamba baseball team while Jessica runs Prefurred Pet Services a successful dog grooming business.

Their three youngest children are also actively involved in the Port Richey community. When the Turner family learned that Shop 1193 in Port Richey was up for sale, they knew they had to take the opportunity to apply the same level of care and expertise to their Port Richey community that they had provided to their customers on Sligh.

In 2017, Casimiro became a Service Manager at Ice Cold Air. The following year, he and his wife Nancy bought the location where he worked.

Cas moved to Florida nearly 20 years ago. However, he relocated to Connecticut to take care of his late mother. While living there, he met Nancy and they fell in love. They got married in 2015 and during their honeymoon in Florida, Cas convinced Nancy to move with him to Florida for the warmer weather. Together, they have five grown children.

Nanny, Cas, and their community actively assist the handicapped and homeless with food, clothing, and companionship.
